The commercial center with a floor space of 1.3 million square feet was first built in 1978 and then rebuilt in 1993 and again in 2008. The Oaks is home to more than 170 different shops and services in its whole.

The Oaks is home to several well-known retailers and brands, such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, JCPenney, The Apple Store, Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, and J.Crew, among others.

The Cheesecake Factory, STACKED Food Well Built, The Lazy Dog Café, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Urban Plates, Chipotle, and PizzaRev are among the establishments that fall under the category of restaurants. In addition, the food court area has a wide variety of dining alternatives.

The renovation that took place in 2008 resulted in the construction of a multi-level parking structure that provides over 1,300 parking spots and digital indicators that indicate the number of open parking spots. On the east side of the mall, there is a wonderful outdoor shopping area that connects to AMC Thousand Oaks 14 and the eateries that are located there.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Oaks takes great pleasure in its role as a community partner. Through a mix of employee participation, financial assistance, in-kind gifts, and collaborations with non-profit organizations whose goals are congruent with our vision and values, we work hard to address the issues that face our community.

Contribution Requests

The Oaks will provide a variety of nonprofit groups with financial support, in-kind donations, and the use of its facilities on an annual basis, according to a predetermined budget. Every year, it is expected that there would be hundreds of requests. Recipients of donations may include education programs run by civic groups; food banks; foundations; hospitals and health care organizations; youth programs; performing arts and museum organizations; and many more. While great consideration is given to each request, it is unfortunately not possible to fulfill every single one.
